| To help us TTCers - how long did it take u to fall PG? As you know, when you're TTCing, you're constantly thinking 'how long will it take? Could I be trying to years? What's the average?' etc.
So I'd find it useful if you gals could list how long it took you to get PG just to get an idea of averages on this board.
Cheers gals.x

I'm Currently Feeling: | I am 40 and conceived twice in 2007 . Miscarried in February and fell pregnant in August, first month of trying!!. Have found it easier to conceive in my late 30s than i did in my twenties. Maybe more relaxed about it now and more in tune with body, or just lucky?? This is in fact my 13th pregnancy, having had 9 miscarriages, so not always an easy journey. Good luck on those BFPs | | | | Status: Offline

| Both times I fell pregnant we got it right in the second month.
The first time I didn't ovulate the first month (Loooooooong story to do with birth control) but falling pregnant was the only thing on my mind. Our gp told me to stop thinking about it. He said it's wrong to turn it into a chore. It's supposed to be a special, personal thing between you and your partner and he hates seeing couples "trying". He said all you need is a bit of romance. The next month I relaxed a bit and we actually stopped trying. I fell pregnant.
This time around as well. The first month all I thought about was falling pregnant. It didn't happen. The second month I didn't even take notice of when I ovulated. I thought we'd missed it but I wasn't concerned. Day 35 came.... no AF.
It's quite wierd how it happened exactly the same both times. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi,
Unlike all the others it took me just over a year and a half to fall pregnant. After a year of trying myself and DH went to get tested just in case there was something wrong - all our tests came back normal which was a relief. My Gyni then put me on Clomid to ensure I was ovulating every month - most women only ovulate 8 out of 12 cycles each year! Anyway we conceived on our second month on Clomid and I am now 10 weeks PG.
By the way I forgot to mention that my cycle lengths varied each month - some months it could be 30 days, the next month it could be 35.
Good luck! | | | | Status: Offline
