I feel like I'm getting braxton hicks. I know it's not but my uterus area has been feeling really 'solid', like it's stretching. I've only had it that past couple of evenings. Has anyone else had this?

I can't say that I have....yet. I think I am only one day behind you in this experience of life. It sounds cool though. I can sometimes feel exactly where my uterus is because it feel tense and warm though.

Its still early to feel the baby, but by the time you are 16 weeks along or so, sometimes that 'hardness' you feel is the baby's back against your stomach wall. If they are facing "in" and presenting their back to your belly button, you can kinda feel it... when they face the other way, tummy tends to be softer.

Your placenta might also be in the front and that's what you may be running into.

My midwife asked me early on if I noticed this, and said it is normal. The uterus is just building itself up, stregthening for the job it has to do.

I'm glad to hear it's normal. I was a bit worried as I've had it the past couple of evenings and I didn't have it in my other pregnancies.

Yeh I had it with my last pregnancy and I'm having it with this one too.

Like a pulling feeling in my lower abdomen right on the pubic bone. If you'll forgive the abundance in info. It can be quite an uncomfortable experience as well at times. I just tell myself it's normal and healthy and that way it's makes me feel calmer
