Sexing at Nuchal

With 2 DD daughters and knowing we have twins this time a Very excited OH and I went along to our Nuchal yesterday (12wks 5 days).
After all measurements were done the sonographer then proceeded to tell us she couldn't see anything that looked like a willy on either baby and although it wasn't definitive she's 70% sure that both are girls (whether they are identical or not has not been established).

So I'm now wondering, has anyone else been told this early the sex of their baby and was that right??

I had a quick look online last night but OH doesn't want to get his hopes up only to be told at 20 weeks this was correct. Obviously he will love whatever we have but being a typical man's man he was hoping for at least one son to pass on whatever it is men pass on.

A GIRL I KNOW HAD A BOY AND WAS EXPECTING HER 2ND,HAD HER SCAN AND ASKED,AND WAS TOLD AT HER 20WEEK SCAN IT WAS A GIRL!!WAS TOLD IT AGAIN AT A LATER SCAN,SO GOT FAMILY TO BUY LOADSA "PINK" BITS AND GAVE BIRTH IT TURNED OUT TO BE A BOY!!THE LOCAL HOS HAS A POLICY OF DONT ASK WE WONT TELL YOU!!BUT SOMETIMES IF YOU GET A NICE 1 THEY WILL,SHE JUST GOT 1 THAT DIDNT KNOW A HAMBURGER FROM A TEAPOT!!

I was told that girl is the harder to sex? Not sure if that is right, you'll have to ask again at 20 weeks!

do you have the scan pictures? if you have clear nub shots then a few of us might be able to tell you what they look like? xxx

When i had my nt scan at 12+5 they said it was too hard to tell at this stage , but like hayley x said if you have a nub shots we could offer our opinions xx

Never one for technical stuff I am hoping I have managed to put two pics up...

the first should be twin 1
and the second, obviously, twin 2 (there's a tiny no.2 in pic)

This is the clearest pic of each twin I have so please feel free to nub check.

From the first pic, i would say defo girlie...

i was told at my 12week scan and being 80% accurate at that stage that it was a boy...will find out for sure on the 26th

see now me personally didnt think they actually grew their sexual organstill 14wks...but i maye wrong.....even still i wouldnt go by a 12 week scan im going to pay for a private 16wk one xx good luck on those boys and cograts on twins xx
