Pregnant After Miscarriage

Heyyy,
Found out a couple of weeks ago that im pregnant, due 4th April 2010
Very happy but also extremely nervous...
In April this year i went as normal for my 12week scan to be told they could not find a heart beat, the baby had died 2 weeks before hand, there were no signs what so ever so was a total shock but around the time it happened i was under alot of stress, anyway, the bleeding and all the rest of it started around a week after. i had 1 period since, been takein folic acid daily, but am now very nervous and cautious of this pregnancy and hopin all will be well.

Anybody else due around the same time?

Hey!
Congrats on the pregnancy!
I had a miscarriage last month and am now due again on 10th April (according to docs).
Going for an early scan next week as i am petrified i will miscarry again.
Im sure all will be fine and in 9 months time you'll be holding your lil bubba worrying about something completely different.
Good luck and hope you have a happy, healthy pregnancy

Hey Gemma!

Congratulations on your BFP! Try not to worry about this pregnancy, I know, easier said than done - but things will probably work out really smoothly this time around. I had a miscarriage in November 2007 and when I found out I was pregnant in January 2008, I was so worried - every little twinge or pain I was scared and I was always checking my boobs to see if they were still sore and worried if they weren't. I now have a little 10 month old boy. Don't worry, I am sure things will be fine for you this time but it definately is natural to worry.

One thing that I did that helped ease my worries was to push my doctor to give me hcg tests - this is when they give you a blood test to measure how much pregnancy hormone is in your system. They gave me three, three weeks apart and it showed that the baby was growing. If you are really worried, you could press your doctor for that. If you are still nervous, you could go private for an early scan (around about £100 pounds) - the NHS probably wouldn't do one early.

I am sure everything will be fine this time around.

Hi Vicyi

Hope all goes well for you, were due not 2 far apart then! I think i might speak 2 my doctor about my worries and maybe they'll let me have an earli scan, either way, good luck!!!

Hey Poppy,
Thanks for ur message, yeah i'm the same when it comes 2 checkin my boobs lol its strange though because with the last pregnancy i never had sore nipples, just morning sickness, but this time round they kill!!! Either way, fingers crossed
