Should i be worried


went to my check up today and midwife tried to see if she could hear the LO's heart beat but couldnt, im nearly 13 weeks now is that normal? xxx

Don't worry, I had a bleed around that time and the midwife tried to check the heartbeat and couldn't find. I went back a few days later and another midwife tried and she managed to find it. Your baby is still quite small so it was probably just hiding xx

Maybe it was just too early. My midwife said she wouldn't try to hear the heartbeat until 16 weeks x

Could be just slightly too early to hear, or she wasnt trying in the places where babies might lurk sometimes
iv an app in my GP surgery this thur, and think Nurse guna try listen for H/B
if she dont find it lol, il grab doppler and look for it myself ...
have you got one yourself?xx

im getting one off my brothers gf this weekend. it just worries me that LO isnt there or something!! i want to hear him/her beating away lol xxx

It will be fine hun, still could just be a little bit to early.
I havent heard lo's heartbeat yet, I seen it at 1st scan though. It will be the first time for me to hear it tomorrow and I an getting a little worried.
It is normal for us all to worry!!
xxxx

Mine said that is when they ordinarily try... she also said past 10 weeks they are little monkeys, moving about! you probably have a dancing bean! x x x
