1st doctors appointment

Just back from the docs, doc didn't tell me anything i didn't already know from being on here! I reckon I know more than she does! When she asked for my LMP i told her then said 'but i didn't ov til CD19' she looked at me like i was mad!

However, i did get a 'purple pack' with lots of forms to fill in, my maternity record and stuff to read so that should keep me occupied! I mean, there's a little book with stickers in! Filled in some forms at the surgery and the midwife will call me within a couple of weeks apparently! And there's forms to fill in to get free stuff - don't know what it is but i love free stuff!

Ravenous hunger seems to be subsiding, got a few twinges today and a bit tired but no m/s so far thankfully!

The only thing my doctor done was take a urine sample to confirm the pregnancy and once it came back positive I was referred to a midwife. x

ive my 1st docs apt on thursday but last time with me they also just confirmed the pregnancy lol not personable until u get to the midwife which is about 10 weeks.

free stuff ... take all the free stuff u can! lol

god knows that mine will say tomorrow when i tell her i ovulated on day 41

Ha ha that is quite funny about you telling the Dr your ov date......My doctor asked me when my LMP was, but then asked me when I got my BFP and I said 11 DPO - she looked at me like I was nuts or something - clearly has no knowledge of the REAL preggo lingo.
You got loads more that I did - I got no forms and no stickers either - I feel completely short changed!
Did get an early (ish) scan booked though for 28th August (which will make me 8 weeks all being well) so that did compensate a bit!
