Unhappy

so confused

when i went to the doctors on the 27th of december i had already done 5 or 6 preg tests, all positive so the doctor asked me to do a urine sample and he tested it for infections (clear) and a pregnancy test. i recieved a phone call today off his receptionist asking for me to go to the surgery today. i went and the doctor said 'your test came back negative' and then proceeded to call the hospital where my scan is and have it brought foward from the 21st to the 14th which is this mon coming. he said that id need to be scanned to unsure that its a viable pregnancy and that ive not miscarried but im not bleeding im not in pain and i still feel pregnant?! so i toddled to superdrug and bought 2 tests took them home (crying like a fool walking to my house) and did the tests and to my suprise positive!!!!

ive rang my gp and he said congrats but you still need the scan to double check. i asked about the preg test he did and he said that they are not always that accurate....

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOO CONFUSED

How strange! if you have done 6/7 tests by now can't see all of them being wrong! Good Luck x

Thats wierd and can completely understand why you are so confused. Surely 6 or 7 pregnancy tests canīt be wrong? Hope your scan clears up the confusion on Monday.

Its actually quite common for that to happen! Doctors use silly cheapo tests and they very often come up negative for quite a long time, plus if you'd drank a lot beforehand etc etc. 7 tests won't lie to you hun, imo you have nothing to worry about x

I agree that 7 tests can't lie, probably something happened to the doctors test. Fingers will be crossed and you will be in my thoughts. Keep us posted please

I hope everything is ok hon, good luck with your scan!

Like the other girls said, it was probably something wrong with his test or it didn't test as much HCG as yours did. Its a promising sign
