Back again and leaving again!

Sort of "Hi & Bye!"

Have just been away on holiday (and unusually quiet on here!) for the past couple of weeks. It was quite an adventure! Visiting the in-laws in LA, flying up to Anchorage, cruising down to Vancouver, then a couple of days in Vancouver before flying home to the UK (got back this evening). I must be insane (it was all booked before I became pregnant)! It was "great for the soul" though (even if I could sleep for a few days straight now... ).

Now I am back, it is time to move over to 2nd Tri: can't believe how quickly it has gone! Maybe something to do with the holiday: things have been manic for a good four weeks...

Take very good care, everyone. and look forward to seeing you in 2nd Trimester soon.

My biggest advice regarding "surviving" the First Trimester is to stay as relaxed and positive as possible (this is despite my first pregnancy ending in miscarriage this past March...). Look after yourself and do what you can to stay healthy, but - beyond that - try not to stress or worry about things that are beyond your control. Yes bad things can happen, but the chances of them happening to you is VERY slim. There is really little point in worrying and stressing about what MIGHT happen: get on and enjoy your pregnancy. Besides, a relaxed and happy pregnancy is more likely to produce a relaxed and happy baby...

I wondered why I hadn't spied any of your sensible posts recently! Glad you had a good holiday. Looking forwards to following you into 2nd tri (how weird does it feel saying that?!!)
