Progesterone levels...

I had my progesterone levels checked on Tues...they were 17,Is that normal in early pregnancy? I am not even really sure how far I am due to my MC last month and no AF in between.....The doctor said 17 was kind of low....which is normal when my HCG is not doubling like it should be....

I just had a look on google and it says they can range from 9-47 in the first trimester, with an average of 12-20 in first 5 or 6 weeks.

So yours sounds fine! X x

With regards to hcg, anything from 18 to 7,340 is normal at 5 weeks.
It says with regard to hcg and progesterone it's not any single value that predicts healthy baby. Levels of hcg should be increasing by at least 60% every 2-3 days.

If there is a concern of ectopic or m/c, hcg will start out normal but will not increase or just stop rising and progesterone will be low from beginning

I googled 'progesterone levels at 5 weeks' I think. I'd put a link up but it's really hard to do cos I'm doing it on my phone x
it was the first link that came up, on the americanpregnancy.org site

i had problems early in my pregnancy and doctor told me that in first 4 weeks of pregnancy hCG should double in 48 hours so yours sounds ok. from 4th week increase of this hormone slows down. if you had 966 in 1.5 days then you would have 1288 in 48 h what would be double from your previous one so chin up everything looks fine.
