Evil Google!

As much as I promise myself I wouldn't google, I've done it this morning, and I've petrified myself!!!

Reading about MMC and I am so frightened! My symptoms have lessened slightly (at least my boobs aren't as sore anymore) and I'm wondering if something is wrong, or if it's just because I'm nearing my second trimester? Also, I had back ache the other night and I'm frightened!!!

Have my scan in 6 days!

xx

'WALK AWAY FROM GOOGLE'

Its awful and wonderful all at the same time - try to relax there is nothing you can do either way really is there (I am repeating what my oh told me when I was in bits thinking the same thing after an awful dream this morning)

Stressing will just make your baby stressed, nothing anyone can do or say will ease your mind apart from seeing your baby on that machine.

I know how you feel my scan is in 4 days - 1........ 2............. 3.............. and breathe xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Big Hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Bless your OH - Mine is at work and I am working from home and can only get away with Googling when he is out as he has banned it!

The so called advice is so contradictory... one site you are lead to says you have a loss of symptoms, the other says you won't notice anything - your symptoms will initially continue. What was your dream Vicky?

Just another question... if you have an evident bump, is this more likely to be a positive successful pregnancy or does it make no difference? Sorry, I'm such a worrier!

Good luck for your scans!

Arggh that flippin' google; I have an anxiety disorder and was always tempted to google everything, it can have you thinking you have every life threatening disease under the sun! You have to be strong and NOT DO IT! If you find yourself going to do it, google something nice instead like maternity clothes or baby names. Do not let the negativity get you! In my first trimester my I only predominantly had one symptom, and that was 'sick'! I only had things like tiredness and sore boobies occasionally, and they still come and go. But everybodies symptoms are different. Certain ones are bound to slacken off towards second tri, and don't worry, you won't be missing the sore boobs for long, they'll probably be back! If you are worried, speak to your midwife, thats what she's there for. If you have your scan in six days then you'll soon see if everything's ok; I worried loads until I saw babba on that scan, and now I'm getting a nice head of anxiety up for my second one! (which is 3 weeks away) Its only natural to worry a bit but you must try not to let it take over, its not good for your health or your little one's. I'm sure all will be fine, let us know how scan goes. Good luck

Ps I shouldn't worry about backache either unless its particularly severe and lasts more than a day or two

How exciting that your second scan is soon!!! I keep saying after 12 wks I won't worry but hey, chances are, like you, I will! Apparently this worrying doesn't stop until they are eighteen?!!? This is my first baby!

My back is fine during the day, and then at night, if I move in bed (this only happened badly one night), I felt I was ripping all my muscles!!! It was fine if I lay still. Someone said it's everything stretching, and I am huge already, but I'm still so worried!

Hope your scan goes well too - keep us updated!

xx

My dreams was a 4mm nt measurement for both babies

Also that is my logic - I have got noticebly bigger this week and unless 'I ate all the pies' there must be SOMETHING in there lol. I would assume babies that are no longer alive dont grow.

Ohhh I dunno - only time will tell xxxxxxxxxxxxx
