Was your pregnancy planned or just a nice surprize?

For me it was very much planned, i had been on the pill for 3 months ( which basically messed my cycle right up, i was having periods every 2weeks) so i decided to come off that around mid april i was scared it would take a while to fall pregnant id read some terrible stories about the pill ( cerzette ) but to be honest i think i needed them 3 months to get over my MC back in feb..... Im lucky i fell pregnant within weeks

This one was planned, the last one wasn't. I don't think it matters really, I wouldn't change how things have turned out.

Last time I was on the pill, but not taking it every day, because I'm a bit rubbish... so I got pregnant. This time, I had my implant taken out, and went on the pill. But only took it for a month, because I got way too broody. I don't think the pill is a good contraceptive for me...

This pregnancy was a BIG surprise, but we are very happy about it now, just a bit shell shocked at first.

I was taking the pill Cilest which didnt agree with me at all, was getting bad PMT syptoms all cycle and started getting terrible migraines which ive never suffered from, so was advised to change pills to Microgynon, It was in this changeover that the I fell pregnant.

Didnt think that i needed extra protection as I started new pill straight after old pack ended, but apparently there is a small risk when you change pills of falling pregnant.

so anyway thats the story of how no.6 came to be. xx

This baby was planned but wasnt!

After mason was born, we felt our family was complete, paul booked in for the snip....then we found out in april that i was pregnant again. We were gutted, not over the moon, spent a weekend crying. We talked about termination twice, I booked myself in twice, cancelled twice, then finally accepted i couldnt go through with a termination. For the next week we spoke a lot about another baby, what it would mean, went through all the cons and turned them into pros...then finally we began to get so excited about having another. The following week i began to bleed and at the end of that week we lost the baby. To say we were heartbroken, after all we had been through to decide to have the baby, would be an understatement. I lost the baby on my daughters 4th birthday.

After the miscarriage i blamed myself, sure that all my negative thoughts had killed the baby (we found it had stopped growing at 5 weeks 3 days, around the time i first booked a termination) and i began to badly want another baby. Well not another..but THAT baby. So we talked about it, and to my suprise paul immediately agreed. There was nothing to stop us, all the problems that came with having a 4th, we had already worked through with the one we lost.

So a month on, I fell pregnant with this one, and we are over the moon

we got married on May 2nd 09 and started trying straight away, i only had 1 or 2 periods after that so caught quite quicky (Considereing we dont do it often as we are both always tired!!) only problem is i have no idea when my last period was although i think earlyish June, so iv no idea how far gone i am!!

Mine was definitely planned.

We got married last September, stop taking the pill after 10 or so years in October and was pregnant in February. I miscarried that baby about 6 weeks... We have been desperately trying to fall pregnant again and finally we got lucky this month. Just hoping for it to stick this time!

I have been on the pill forever and am 36 so assumed it would take at least 6 months - last pill 1st May lmp 5th May - BFP 6th June and twins scanned 19th June lol

totally not planned was on the pill and due to asthma was rushed into hops and kept in for 3 days! so needless to say due to the fact i was hooked up to an oxygen tank and popping steriods i totally forgot about the pill, once i got home i took the pack as normal.....AF never arrived! i was so scared after and ectopic and mmc but doing well so far bubs is almost 9 weeks!! i didnt find out i was pg until nearly 3 weeks late!! looking back im glad i was putting it down to stress haha!!
