Hi meme. Sorry you are feeling so terrible. You should definately come talk to us ladies more. We don't bite!!! Also, can I just say Thank you so so much for this thread. I don't know about anyone else, but I've been worried about the news of pregnancy and swine flu. But you have eased my mind so much. I can't thank you enough. Get well really really soon and look after yourself and your expanding family. XX

Does this mean that both you and your bump now have immunity for the future? Not sure how it works. Make sure you fully rest up - you can spend some time on here during the day and do some "research" (i.e. internet shopping!)

Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks everyone.

One of the symptoms i have is diahorrea (sp?) but i have the problem of constipation. So even though i need to go, i can't.
Gonna have to call my GP again tomorrow cause i'm now getting quite bad stomach pains/cramps because i need to go, but sit on the toilet for what seems like an age and no matter how hard i try, i just can't!! It's not constant pain, but does come on suddenly, and stays until i've managed something. (how embarassing)

Sorry if TMI...

Does anyone have any home remedies for aiding constipation that'll help me through tonight?

The problem with a lot of herbal remedies for constipation is that they're not safe to take when pregnant as they can also sometimes be used for bringing on labour!

Try drinking two LARGE mugfuls of hot water (with sugar or honey to taste) as that can really get the bowels moving. *ahem*

Hi...

Firstly how are you doing??

Im going to be totally honest here, i was actually scared to read your post yesterday... i was worrying about it already adn thought oh no i cant read it incase she dies or losses her baby....

All ive hurd is bad press and people dying it will be great to see you have this and come out the other end with i believe your doing. I've lost 5 babies 3 early one 6-8wks and then a 22weeker and 24+3weeker so with me now being 13+4 i dread catching it... but i see that mayb its not all doom and gloom...

Keeping everything crossed that you get throught hsi in one piece.

Thanks for sharing even thou it took me time to read it X

Morning.

Not feeling great today, but still here...

Redpoppy - will try that, thankyou.

Earlybump - Try not to worry too much. Easier said than done i know. Everyone is affected differently, and i don't think i'm that bad.

Today is a struggle. Am absolutely shattered, and a little dizzy. The cough i've only had during the beginning and end of the day is now with me during the day and is not nice. I know cough medicine doesn't really do much for a cough, but will get some anyway to soothe my throat.
I'm staying in my PJ's all day and am going to sleep and read. Relax and get the OH to wait on me hand and foot for a change!!
I'm supposed to work today, but have called in sick for the week. Even if i didn't know what was wrong, i don't think i would have managed to work this week anyway. This just completely drains all your strength.

Thanks for all your kind words. Much appreciated. xx
