Oh yeah. Usually in the morning it's back to flat, but as soon as I eat, huge bloat.

I know, I want to shout it out to the world, but we want to wait till even after our first appointment to even tell our parents. So, that we can get that first things are still looking good.

I told my best friend and my one sister when I got my BFP, but they are also the only two people who knew we were ttc. I feel bad my husband doesn't have anyone to tell without it getting back to other people we don't want knowing just yet.

Hi

I bloated straight away (about 4 weeks) and have been that way since... It is "less" during the morning, but gets more in the afternoon and in the evening there is little disguising it

I am a size 10 and a regular gym goer (4/5 times a week, normally with pilates thrown in), but said "bye bye" to my lovely flat stomach some time in week 4

You just have to embrace your new roundness really...

Some people find that the bloat passes, but not me. Some people have had luck cutting out wheat/dairy, but I would die if I didn't eat bread/pasta - two of the few things that i still fancy!

The other thing is to move to maternity jeans fairly early (I was in them by 8 weeks). My normal jeans are stretchy bootcut (not hugely low rise) and were just too tight across my bloated tummy VERY early on. I now have some size 10 maternity jeans (from "Blooming Marvellous") and they are great: fit great, don't look maternity, fit "under bump" and are adjustable (so you get the waist out as you grow). Much more comfortable on bloat.

Congratulations and welcome

QT

I had to buy a new pair of jeans this past winter and the outlet store only had a size 6, one size up from my usual, but aside from the waist they fit really well, so I bought them figuring I'd be ttc soon and once I got PG then they would 'fit'. So, I'll probably be able to keep wearing these for a while.

sooo i am not alone on this then!!!! i thought i was being silly!! but i really am bloating, got a lil tummy there!!

i am looking forward to my belly getting bigger!!the gym was to much hard work anyway!! much prefer this not having to go, walking suits me better!! !! !! so odd going from being gym mad, going to spinning classes the lot to doing nothing! but walking! its enough though. dont want to put extra stress on my body.

i have a feeling i am going to need new clothes in a few weeks. my low rise jeans are still ok, but they are the baggy type, but i cant zip up my work trousers anymore!! this happened last week!! just thought oh dear!!!
had to walk around with the zip half way down! haha!
