Braxton hicks in first trimester?

So the last couple of days I feel like I am getting mini-contrations! This is my third and I don't remember feeling anything like this so early before. I googled braxton hicks and I read that the uterus does start practicing in the first trimester, but people usually don't feel it. I did read though that when you've had children before you'll feel them earlier and stronger. Has anyone else experienced this?? It's really freaking me out!

Well it's funny you say this, I'm only 10 weeks and this is my second baby, but I could've sworn I felt braxton hicks type contractions this week! I dismissed it and thought I was going mad (surely it's way too early?!) but now you've got me wondering..

It is hard to tell though I guess, I'm that hyped up with pregnancy I'm paying attention to every gurgle or cramp when usually I would be oblivious.

Funnily enough I think I had one of these the other night! I woke up in the middle of the night and felt like someone was squeezing my uterus - not painful but twinged a little! Only lasted a few seconds - was very wierd!! Nothing else has happened since - I wouldn't worry about them unless they get painful. Just a little reminder that there is a little person in there! x
