Good luck with everything, I was in A&E last weekend with the same, bleeding but no pain. Also I went for a private scan Monday evening & my lil 1 was there & even heard the h/b, which was fantastic. I am still bleeding but the doctor who did the scan said there was an area of bleeding in my womb, however I am being optimistic, esp as it is very light bleeding now & I still have no pain.

Also going back to my epu Monday morning @ 8.40 for another scan so hopefully all will be well (Everything xd!!)

Thanks so much for posting this - its given me a lot of reassurance! The hospital did try to get me in yesterday, but there were quite a few bumps in A&E yesterday who were a lot further along than me so I'm guessing they were given priority. I would be due my period around now, so fingers crossed that's all it is! xxx

Thanks Sarah. I can't believe how common this is. I've always associated it with a MC, but so many people appear to be fine after an incident. It's given me a lot of hope! Will make sure to keep in touch during the next 7 months! xx

I had EXACTLY the same thing yesterday (and I live in Manchester like you).
I am 8 weeks and had a rush of bright red blood at work, as you can imagine I was terrified. I had a scan today and they saw an area of bleeding underneath the yolk sac. The heartbeat is still there thank God, but I still feel very worried about it all. The bright red blood has stopped but I still have a little brown blood every time I go to the loo.
Fingers crossed for us both...xxx

Hi ladies - I've seen my Bean!!!!

After a very long wait with a very full bladder I finally had my scan and there was tiny Bean all happy! S/he's measuring 11mm at the moment, and my dates are bang on. The heart was beating away like crazy - I was sooooo relived!! I may have had a slight tear in my eye! They couldn't determine the source of the bleeding, but said it definitely wasn't from my womb so they weren't worried in the slightest. In fact they were that happy with what they saw and the results of my bloods yesterday (the HCG results were around 58,000 which apparently is very good?!?!) that I don't need to go back for any checks, unless of course I get any more bleeding or am in pain.

I'm so happy right now! Hubby and I have just been to Toy'r'Us and bought a little bear for the Bean. I want to give him/her something when they're older and say we bought this the day we first saw you!

One thing the sonographer did say is that my womb is backwards?!? Never heard of this before. She said its perfectly fine, just like being left handed instead of right. Has anyone else ever heard of this??
