| hehe - I'm wondering the same. I don't have a regular doctor either because I'm on a different ins plan this year and the place I used to go to isn't on the plan. I looked up an obgyn from this plan and think I will call them tomorrow, since I will have 'officially' missed my period by then. | | | | Status: Online

| I went at 6 weeks but they thought I was 8 weeks. They don't do anything useful when you go, just asked me if I had done a test, said congratulations and sent me back to reception to make an appointment in a few weeks to see the midwife. Don't leave it too late hun because if there is a long wait at your hospital for a scan it will mean you have to wait ages. xxxx | | | | Status: Offline

| Hi ladies,
If it helps, I called my gyno at 4 weeks and 3 days and they said they wanted to see me at 6 weeks. Althought they couldn't get me in until 7 weeks! It feels so far away....! | | | | Status: Offline

| I saw mine at 4+6. They took my word re the positive, gave me a bunch of leaflets and stuff and informed the midwife who contacted me today for an appointment.
The only reason I saw the doc was to get medication changed. If it wasn't for this I would have just booked straight with the midwife. | | | | Status: Offline

| Im 8 weeks and seeing the midwife on thursday.
I called my local maternity unit to ask when I should book as with my first I didnt get seen until I was about 14 weeks, so missed my first scan. They said the midwives are happy to see expecting mothers from 8 weeks. | | | | Status: Offline
