Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction


I had this in my last pregnancy which was really really sore what are the chances of it returning again this time around has anyone else suffered from this ? xx

hi yes i had it really bad in my last pregnancy, i was told if i got pregnant again chances where it would return.

i had it last time around and have it again just now, and i am afraid it is much worse than last time i have been off work with it already and fear it is only get worse x

Research and proof show's that the more pregnancies you have the more at risk you are as each time it softens more and becomes looser, so if you had it last time around then their is a very high chance you'll have it again but worse... xxx

I had it last time round and it was horrendous. Its very likely you'll get it again this time round and possibly worse xx

I had it last time and again this time, I went to see physio asap when I found out and got exercises to help with it, by taking things easy, knowing what set me off last time and avoiding it and doing the exercises, I am currently in a better place with it this time than I was last time, Don;t get me wrong it's still bad, I'm still on crutches but some days I can go without, last time I was on them every day from 20 weeks, and had to give up work by this point while this time i'm still coping.

My advice would be to talk to your MW and get referred before problems start,
