Clothing Frustrations!

How is it possible to be only 7 weeks and having clothing nightmares already?! I knew it would an issue eventually but I didn't think I'd be having issues this early. DH and I have a military ball (2 actually) to attend this week and the dress I'm supposed to wear to one of them is massively tight in the chest! Just to ice the cake all of my friends are either much tinier than me or a full foot taller! Grrrr....

It happens...

I know that I bloated pretty earlier and my breats have filled out too (husband, last night, said it looked like I had had a boob job! ).

We are off on holiday in a couple of weeks and I need to dress up some evenings (and look fairly smart for more evenings than that). All of my existing dresses worked well with my old flat stomach, but now just look silly... so have had to buy some more. Quite a few shops have sales on at the moment, though, so at least it isn't too expensive. Am sticking to styles that have room for a growing bump (and hope I may get some more wear out of them!). I now need some smartish white maternity troussers...

OMG please don't remind me that I'll be doing this again, I went through the dreaded NOTHING FITS stage 2x already and I had it each time. I don't get how one minute jeans can fit and the next there's no way possible when you don't get feel fat. One of the perks of pregnancy I guess.... sigh...

Lol its so annoying (in a good way though). I had to get some new bras today - got measured and I've already gone from a 32B to 32D (wow - wee!!). And I'm only 8+5 weeks. Gulp. The rest of the clothing issues for me are ok - I'm pretty small at the moment and not showing at all. Even the bloat has subsided. Can't wait for a proper bump!

Get a Belly Band!! Should help with the jeans, anyway.

The boobs? No help there! Shopping spree, anyone??

I had that belly band, for some reason it just made everything look bulkier so I gave it to a friend. I don't know how she liked it, but it's worth a shot.

Same here. I had a significant bump (mainly bloat I think) from about 7 weeks and my jeans wouldn't do up at all. By a long way!! Now I'm nearly 14 weeks and have just packed away most of my pre pregnancy jeans and trousers, nothing will go anywhere near me now. Hey ho. We have a good excuse :0)

Same here, it did seem to emphasise my "thickness"... Plus it is an extra layer to sweat through on a hot day

Worth a try, though, and may come it useful at some point...

Very true about the heat and extra layer! Didn't think about that because I used it around Fall/Winter time.
