I was up late last night in a lot of pain and discomfort, it was the crampy feeling i had been getting and posting about on here... really was sooo uncomfy. I eventually got to sleep and woke up thismorning feeling horrid, i went to try and get back to sleep after oh went to work but i was in loads of discomfort... i cant say pain as its not really pain... i felt ill too... i was really dizzy and getting double vission and had no energy at all. St about half 8 i decided i needed OH to come home to take me to hosp as our other car was at the garage so he told me to phone NHS direct... i phoned them and they told me to go straight up to the hospital as i was getting pain in my shoulder too... So we went up to a&e and they saw me straight away, think they could see i wasnt too well, they checked my urine and made me do a lie down blood pressure then standing up blood pressure but all seemed ok, they then called the epac and got a gynae person to come and see me, she felt my stumach and i yelped on the left side, she then done and internal and it hurt, she did say my cervix was nice and closed though. So they took loads of blood and left the thing in my arm as they thought i was going to be kept in. The gynae woman let me home as she said all my obs look good but its a worry why im paining sooo much... the first bludy nurse said ahh ur just miscarrying!!! ooooh nice that is so easy for you to say that pet!!! anyway, they have booked me in for a scan on Tuesday and i got to go in for my second Betas on Saturday, she said my HCG level today is 426... is this good?? im not sure what its supposed to be but apparently im around the 4-5 weeks mark?? Im scared... dont know what i will do if i lose this baby too!!!!

Hi there, i dont rely have any advise but just wanted to say your not alone, iv just got back from hospital after wakng up with bleeding this morning.
I had a scan and they ruled out an ectopic but wont know much else untill somthing either does or doesnt develop over the next few days.
Iv learnt by now dr's and nurses have very little tact especialy for thier line of work, the dr i saw asked me how many times had i been pregnant i told him this was the first and he just looked at me and said "only your first?? was it not planned?" im only 28 so dont see why that should be a surprise.
But any way just wanted to say hope everything works out well for you.

That number is perfectly normal for 4-5 weeks pregnancy, now the only thing that needs to happen is for the number to double on Saturday.

Dont listen to nurses, when I went in with heavy bleeding at 6 weeks, even before they took my blood, one specific nurse came to me and said "Good thing is that you are still young so you always have time to have another one!" NICE.... NOT.

Just try and htink positive, and be hopeful hon XXx

Just want to say do not think the worst if your levels dont double, i had mine taken every 48 hours for almost a week when i was 5ish weeks and although they increased, they never doubled..im now 12+2 and Bubs is fine! x

Good luck hun I had early bleeding - are you going to the EPAC clinic at the RVI? I went there and they did an internal scan and everything was fine
