hello!!
i'm new, and i just got my BFP on saturday. not planned, perfect passion, surprise baby.
actually, we have been trying halfheartedly for 2 years, but it wasnt happening and i had finally come to a peace that i would have an only child. (i have a 5 year old son.)
as they say, as soon as you give up trying, it happens.
i'm super nervous about this though.
my son has slight developmental disabilities, so he has been a VERY challenging boy, and has really only mellowed out in the last year.
i also had a miscarriage a year and a half ago, at about this point in the pregnancy, so that worries me very much.
i hope and pray, pray, pray (and do not mind anyone else praying for us
) that this little bean sticks, and is a happy, healthy, easygoing child.
if all goes well, it looks like this baby's birthday will be august 19th - which STRANGELY enough is my birthday!!
it's all so much to think about!
i look forward to getting to know all of you better.
