i felt fine! A whole evening!

well it was a novelty I can tell you!
I got home from work feeling fine, no nausea. And I cooked dinner and felt fine. I actually made dishes from scratch and included lots of veges and I felt fine. I cleaned the kitchen without feeling too tired or sick from the smell of the cleaning products. I chatted happily and in a friendly non-grumpy-mad-woman way, and felt fine. I ate a full big dinner and felt fine.
It was all very surreal!

Infact it was amazing!!!! I wondered if I should worry...but other symptoms stay the same (boobies! incredible tiredness once I had finally eaten) so I just enjoyed it.

The one thing that I could put it down to was the fact that I'd eaten much more than normal. I had 3 pieces of toast for breakfast instead of 2. I had a full hot lunch at the canteen instead of just a salad or soup or a sandwich.
maybe it's hunger which makes me feel worse? maybe i needed to up my food intake - I was eating the same as I usually would, non pregnant. So today I'm going to eat lots again and hope for the best!

so come on girls, tuck in!..

Thats exactly what i have found the more i eat and snack throughout the day, i feel fine! So whenever i feel slightly sick i have a biscuit or some fruit, and at meal times too have been having bigger meals. Not very good for my figure but who cares if it stops you feeling so crummy!!! i am just going to try and make my meals a little healthier then what they have been.

I keep saltines at my desk specifically because eating one or two throughout the day keeps the nausea at bay. i think it does help to have food in you, though when you're feeling icky, the last thing you want to do is eat. i've actually found that sometimes, at lunchtime, i'm feeling a little too queasy to feel like I can eat much...but eating a few saltines settles my stomach just enough to get a meal down.

I´ve found that eating little and often has kept sickness at bay - as soon as I leave it more than 2 hours between eating something I start feeling yucky and get irritable much quicker.
