First appointment coming up!

I got a letter for my first appointment at the hospital. It is next wednesday in my 11th week and it says it is for booking department. I am anovice to this and was just wondering what is the booking department?

Hi Nienna,
does it not say on the letter? It did on mine.

Anyway, mine was on Monday and it was very informative, I got loads of information, a book and a bounty pack. I had my bloods taken (lots) for many things including my nuchal scan next week, urine, weight, height and I was incouraged to ask all the questions I wanted.

I had my DH with me who asked loads of questions too and in all it lasted an hour or so but I never felt hurried or anything, I was so happy!!!!

It will be fun and remember ask anything you want, maybe prepare a list

Thankyou! That is great! I'm far more confident about it now, I didn't want to walk in without a notion and look an eejit! Not a word on the letter, just said when and where and 'booking dep' so I was totally lost!
