So I have my second doctors appointment tomorrow afternoon, it is with my regular doctor and she said she'd probably be doing a pelvic exam and pap smear, we'll go over the results of my blood tests and than she'll refer us to an obstetrician
Excited about the appointment but scared at the same time. A few nights ago I had a dream that I went to the doctor and she had done all of the exams and as I was about to leave I asked about my blood test results and she said "oh yeah." Than looked at them and told me that she thought I had an ectopic pregnancy. Now I know that this was just a dream and isn't going to happen but it was disconcerting to dream it right before the appointment!!
good luck Vickie! Ooh dreams can be nasty - I ate those dreams whee you feel different afterwards...like when you dream you've been rowing with OH and you wake up in a mood with him!! Or you dream you've kissed soemone you shouldnt and yuo feel shy of them the next day!! heheheh I expect this is similar - your dream has unsettled you.
I'm sure it'll all be fine though. Good luck!
These types of dreams are very typical in pregnancy hun and they feel so real when you have them.....but it is just your concerns and worries coming out in your dreams.
i had a dream before my 12 week scan that they were going to say they couldnt see a baby and that there had never been any baby in there but i was fine and i have a healthy baby growing inside me. its totally normal to have these dreams dont worry. xxx
Thanks girls!! I feel better about it now. I've noticed that my dreams have become much much much more vivid in the last week, I guess it's a trade off for the morning sickness getting better I'll let you all know how it goes when I get back!!
DH, who is reading (and practically memorizing) the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy has told me that vivid dreams are common and to be expected in pregnancy, especially early pregnancy. another one of those symptoms that supposedly mean everything is going well...
