Incompetent Dr's Surgery

So been a week since I saw dr to confirm pregnancy, they though I might be as far as 10 weeks then. They signed me up to midwife at the hospital I chose and said I would hear from her in a ouple of days. A week later I have not heard, so rang the hospital and asked them, they had no record of me at all. Rang dr's surgery who told me "oh sorry your notes seem to have been missed and haven't been sent off. You'll have to wait another week for midwife to come back and pick them up"

That could make me up to 12 weeks, before I even hear from a midwife. They told me the duty dr would ring me, and surprise surprise she hasn't. I'm worried enough about this pregnancy going wrong, and now this happens.
Got hormones all over the place and now just feel really p*ssed off

And the best bit of it is.... I can't do bugger all about it

I know exactly where you are coming from! I've had to chase up my referral to the hospital for my booking in, and 12 week scan.

yep i know where your coming from, although its not my drs thats at fault its the hospital.

my midwife did the referal on the 20th may and i still havent had a date for my dating scan.
i chased it up on mon by ringing the ultrasound department myself and they said they havent recieved it so she did it again yest, i rang today just to check they had recieved it and guess what they are still saying they havent got anything.

im gonna leave it til mon (ill be 13 weeks then!) and ring again if they havent got it im gonna kick off and maybe even complain. im desperate for my scan for some reasurrance as i ve had very little symptoms and over the last 2 weeks even they have dissapeared. my best friend got to her 12 week scan 2months ago and was told she had had a mmc so ofcourse im stressing out so much.
