I know that it is normal to feel some cramps in the first few weeks. It just feels like a have them a lot. And they are quite painful. Anyone else experiance or is experiancing this?

YES!! Iv been getting only what i can describe as 'medium' cramps as they dont last long and arent really that painful but definitely noticable. I ususally get them at night, around 3am...i keep worrying about it but its aparently normal and its everything 'stretching out' and also asked my mum (as shes a midwife) and she told me the uterus moves upwards in during the first 3 months...in preparation to carry the baby and so that may also be why you are experiencing cramps...she said to think of them as 'growing pains'!

thats all good but these 'growing pains' scare the life outta me!! xx

Me too

I'm getting those too. Still not convinced I'm PG coz of them even tho have 3 I wouldn't say mine were painful though, just like a dull ache. Nothing like usual AF cramps. Just most of the time for me. Finger crossed we'll all be fine

I have had cramps on and off since around when I BFPd (3 weeks and 6 days).

They have varied from ok, to "quite uncomfortable and very annoying" (had a day or two last week where they seemed virtually all of the day... really did wear me down ). They have been on and off, but generally not so bad or frequent this week. They have never been painful as such though (although people vary in what they experience as pain). If they are very painful, get checked out by your GP.

On thing (although doesn't sound very intuitive) is "try to physically relax" - like most pains, if you tense and "fight it", then it feels worse (if that makes sense).

Take care

QT

Isn't it annoying?! I was convinced AF would show, and was on constant knicker watch. The cramps seemed to subside for me at around 8 weeks, early cramping is pretty normal.
