Shoulder pain!

Girls i need abit of advice. I`m having a wee pain now again on my left hand side. Its kinda along where ur bra strap sits. kinda at the end of my collar bone, just under the bone. Its like a wee sharp shooting pain. Only comes and goes about once an hour. Just wondering if it is something i should be worrying about?
I read shoulder pain can be sign of eptopic, am i experiencing something comletely different and just bein a paranoid freak?

If it puts your mind at rest go see your Gp or midwife - then if they are worried they would send you for a scan to check.....

i believe that if you were experiencing shoulder pain due to an ectopic pregnancy that you will already have had other symptoms, i.e. pain in your side or bleeding.

have you done anything that could have hurt your shoulder. as you know the high levels of progesterone at this stage starts to slacken the ligaments in your joints which make it easier to hurt yourself while lifting and exercising etc.

hope you feel better soon!

I had to do 2 body massages today, so unless iv done something to myself during those and maybe caused the pain. My DH has been online looking stuff up and it seems to say that shoulder pain caused by ectopic pregnancy is normally at the tip of the shoudler. I took 2 paracetomol and now im just lying in bed with a hot water bottle on top of it so maybe that`ll sort it. If its not eased in an hour or so then I`ll ring the doctor on call and see what they say. Tryin not to get too wound up over it. Dont wanna stress myself out.

Hi sweets. Sorry you're in pain. I supected the same (which is why I asked if you'd had tummy pains) as that was what my doc asked me. She said the shoulder tip pain is usually one of the last symptoms experienced.

Give them a call just to put your own mind at rest. Never worry you're being a nuisance. That's their job.

Hope all is well and they ease your worry. Big hugs xxx

Hope it doesn't come to that hun, but if it does come back you would be best to just go get it checked, more for your peace of mind than anything else.
