pregnancy induced heart murmour

hello! i wondered if anyone has heard of this? my best friend has found out shes pregnant about 10 weeks, she had a drs appointment last week where he picked up a mild heart murmour, shes never had this before just mild asthma, she was taken by suprise by this pregnancy and tbh didnt ask the dr much as still in shock i think! im so happy for her and want to help her out as much as i can so wonder if anyone knows if this is anything to really be worried about? she has her 1st check with the midwife next week and will ask her about it then but wondered if anyone else has heard of this?
thank you!!

She more than likely always had it but as its mild they never picked up on it. My son has a heart murmur and has an appointment once a year with his heart consultant. He always says to watch out for blueness around the mouth and fingers and feet, breathlessness, and paleness. DS has grown out of all these symptoms and you wouldnt think he has anything wrong with him. I dont treat him any different and encourage exercise as it helps the blood flow better. They will just moniter her closely throughout pregnancy. hope all goes well
