| I'd ring my GP / midwife and ask I think. I'm not sure I'd be keen on taking something not recommended when pg unless a medical professional had sanctioned it.
I'd rather miss the gardening show I think!! | | | | Status: Offline

| I asked my doc about this and was told not to take it as whatever is causing the diarrohea needs to get out of your system ASAP so you just need to keep hydrated. | | | | Status: Offline

| Hi there
I would personally avoid the pill and try some of the natural methods to stop it.
Drink plenty of fluids. Fluids are the most effective treatment for preventing dehydration in pregnant women. By drinking fluids, such as oral rehydration fluids (ORF), juice, or water, pregnant women can reduce their chance of becoming dehydrated.
Allow your gastrointestinal tract to settle by not eating for a few hours.
Gradually reintroduce food, starting with bland, easy-to-digest food, like toast, broth, apples, bananas, and rice.
Avoid dairy products and caffeine.
Also, liquid diet ( eg soups etc) may help?

| Hi Ladies, thanks for the posts, my main issue with food is when i dont eat i then puke so its kind of a viscous circle, its coming out one way or t'other!!
I think i will stick to non dairy stuff and eat as bland as possible tomorrow. Ive now got a stinking cold too so I really feel pretty vile, trouble is its my mums birthday trip and without me she cant go so im kinda stuck with it!
Still never mind, Im getting to the 10 week mark so should hopefully begin feeling better soon!
