i know the doctor takes your pregnacy date by the last time you had your AF, but my AF was like 1 day but really light,spotting had most of the symptoms of pregnacy which was 24 october, and still getting them then 23 nov took test got BFN and as i am late 9 days now took test and its BFP so i cant figure out my dates would i got preg month of early oct or early nov, and also as i took test 2 in the morning, cause i just finish work i might not of had enough HCG to test with........

No idea, you need to get a dating scan to know for sure.

I am still not sure of my exact dates either.... told MW and they have booked me in for dating scan in January when i think i will be 12 weeks at least, i could be more... i had a very small bleed in october and they have classed that as a period and counted it from that date until i have scan

Hi hun,

That one day period, could have been implantation bleeding.......some people do not get there BFP until they are 1-2 weeks late for AF and some even longer......but the only way to determine your true date is via a dating scan.

So I would tell your GP you have had irregular periods and didn;t have one last month but got a BFN, and push for that dating scan rather than have to wait for an estimated 12 weeks scan! Good luck hun and Congratulations on your BFP!
