Well my entire family knows except for a few a people...None of his family knows yet because he doesnt want to tell them yet....I am tryin to talk him into telling them on Christmas morn while we are all together doing gifts and stuff! But I dont know if he will yet or not! Any ideas on how to tell his family? Some of them will be less than thrilled
Im worried about my pawpaw and mawmaw on dads side...and hubbys family...some of them...they always say how crazy we are for havin anymore kids! Like we are stupid or somethin!

However, we are waiting to tell my hubby's parents until Christmas. We are going to make them shirts saying "Grandpa August 2008" and "Grandma August 2008" --> Just an idea....

That sounds like a neat idea!!!! I may try that! Hubbys step mom always makes a batch of home made candies around this time of year and it just came to mind and I cant wait!!!! I wanna eat em!!!
If your family doesn't like it, too bad....it's happening and it is what you both wanted. They will come around! Congrats! I think an X-mas surprise would be cute.
Due to the fact I have always told my parents and parent in laws everything they knew the day before that the doctor had suggested I take a test so it only seemed right to tell them when we found out - that included a phone call to my Mom in Spain lol.
Otherwise my plan was to give them a card on Christmas and let them open it to see it say I'm Pregnant or something along those lines.
I woke my mom up at 5 in the morning her time to tell her and DH woke up his mother at 6 (our time). Everyone in our family knows plus several of our close friends.
We haven't told anyone yet (I'm 6w1d today). We're planning on telling everyone on Christmas. All the grandparents-to-be (this is the first kid on both sides) are going to get "grandparents are special" picture frames with a pic from the first scan in them...or, if there's not enough to really see, an announcement saying "Baby Payne, due July 26, 2008" and a link to the blog we have set up for friends and family who don't live near by to be able to follow the progress :-) My parents and DH's have been very patient and never pressured us to have kids, but it's quite obvious they are ready to be grandparents!!!
Actually, we have told one person...I'm going to be a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding in late August, and she had to order the dresses this week...Since I'm ordering a maternity dress...I kinda had to tell her. But I SWORE her to secrecy!!!
