Who is due Xmas Eve/Xmas Day/Boxing Day?

I'm due Xmas Eve... and i'm finding it very difficult deciding on where i'll spend Xmas day, where my 2 children will go if i go into labour, I'm dreading missing out on seeing my kids open their Xmas pressies, and having to ship them off to their Nan's or my Sisters when i go into labour!

It's a nightmare being due during the holidays!

I think they all come when they want to don't they???

Mammabump - were your other 2 on time? Perhaps bubs will be nice and come a week early so you can be home in time for the holidays.

I'm due 20 Dec from dating scan so am just hoping that mine isn't too late.

In terms of plans I guess you'll just have to be a bit flexible, I'm sure your family will understand if you don't turn up/they have to look after your kids if you're in labour. I know it's not the same but perhaps someone could do a video recording of them opening their presents if you can't be there, at least then you get to see their faces on the recording, and you will also have a souviner of the day number 3 was born..... x

I am due Dec 23rd and have already told all my family that I wouldnt be going anywhere for the holidays. They were already talking about it - and were expecting I would be there with bells on!

As far as your kids - could you do your xmas with them on a day other than the day of xmas. Most kids I know are pretty flexible & you could have them open presents a few days early or late. Im sure they would want you there with them!

I am due 24th Dec, i live 3 hours away from my family so im going to have to delay xmas with them for a few weeks, and have another meal and presents when we have the baby. Am going to spend xmas day with friends instead, providing im not in hospital, it sucks not seeing your family at xmas.
