Angry

Bloomin Midwife

I'm worried enough as it is about being pregnant and miscarrying without the midwife saying we don't need to come out and see you just yet as it is early and chances of miscarry are high!

I'm not sure if I want a midwife if that's how they're going to talk to me, I certainly feel worse after speaking to her than I did!!

How far along are you? They tend to wait untill you've missed two periods because miscarriage rates are so high. I don't think she meant to worry you it's just midwife policy.

how mean!!!! Very insensitive.

Can you choose another? or can choose a gyno/obst over a midwife? Not sure that they'd be any more sensitive though!

Poor you, ignore her.

I think some places just dont want to see you too early, i saw my MW at 5 weeks coz i booked the appointment and was hoping to get a date through soon to go to the hospital for a scan, received letter yesterday and they do not want to see me until the 4 January! Was a little disappointed it was so far away but spoke to my sister who said she didn't have her first scan until she was 20weeks, so at least i am not waiting that long!

My midwife is awful too. If she was going to be oresent at the birth I would change, but she's not, so Im not too bothered. She does her job of looking after me, but she's very cold, not easy to talk to, and very blunt. She's a bit scatty and unorganised as well. But nevermind, I just give her backchat now, I bet she loves me
