I'm Currently Feeling: | Still in schock, but happy and scared Hi Ladies! I got my BFP 5 days ago. I was so shocked and surprised and in a state of disbelief that I took another HPT a couple days later. Still positive
Wednesday I have my first appointment with my OB to confirm the pregnancy, and I'm nervous and excited all at once. I'm scared to death, though, of miscarrying. I feel like it was just so easy for us to get pregnant (my BFP came about 3 weeks after we officially started TTC), that I'm scared I'll lose it. Is this normal? Every time I go to the bathroom, I'm afraid I'll see blood. Is it worth asking for a test of progesterone levels when I go to the doc on Wednesday? Or is this just par for the course, and part of being a mom is worry?
I've always wanted to be a mom, and now that it's so close, I'm afraid it will get taken away! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Congrats. Yes, it is totally normal. I felt, and feel the same way. We got pregnant the first time as well. Try not to worry, because no matter how much you worry it will not stop anything from happening, nor will it cause it to happen either. |

I think worrying about things is a natural state to be in when you are pregnant. I fell pregnant pretty quickly as well and didn´t think that would be the case, having been warned by all my friends that it would take ages, so now I´m constantly thinking something has to go wrong! We´ve been way too lucky! | | | | Status: Offline

you're 100% percent nomral - I am still having a silent "hurrah!" every time I wipe and all is clear.
All you can do is make your body the best place for the baby to be so it stays there - rest, eat healthily and try and stay stress free!
CONGRAUTUALTIONS!!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks ladies. Its good to know I'm not totally nuts!!
So far I have no reason to think there would be any problem. But since my BFP and I made my Dr. appointment, I have this fear that I'll go in there and they'll tell me that I'm not really preg. (I've even taken two more HPTs to be sure)
DH and I are both ecstatic...in fact, last night after I was sleeping, he went online and ordered 2 pregnancy books and a pregnancy planner/organizer to make sure we are on track with everything! He's so cute about the idea of being a dad!
Not sure exactly how far along I am, but I'll probably find out tomorrow morning when I go for my first OB appointment. I'll let you know how it goes :-)
