So, I went in to the doctor's office today for my "confirmation of pregnancy" visit. In my doctor's office, this visit happens with one of the OB/GYN nurses. However, it took her no time at all to tell me "you're *definitely* pregnant."
So, just hearing that come out of the mouth of a medical professional suddenly makes all more real. And I'm much more confident about it as well. She spent quite a bit of time with us (DH came with me on the visit...he said he wants to be there for ALL of them), answered our questions, and generally helped put our minds at ease. I'm scheduled for my first scan on 12/18. DH and I haven't told anyone yet, and we're planning on telling our parents for Christmas...in fact we have it all planned out! We're going to get some nice "grandparents are special" picture frames, and frame a pic from the first sonogram for them. This will be the first grandkid on both sides of the family, and while they have been very good about not bugging us to have kids, we know they have really been wanting to be grandparents. It will be the perfect Christmas present!!!
How, we just have to find the willpower to keep it a secret for the next 4 weeks!!!
