What are your rights, when requesting a doctor's test?

Does anyone know what your rights are when requesting a doctor's test (i.e. hcg level monitoring) or ultrasound in the UK?

I know they do these tests earlier in some other countries, but what about the UK?

Its stupid - All depends on your doctor & your EPU!

Only thing I do know is if you go to the A&E out of hours with pain they usually take your hCG levels A thought for you hun.

My EPU before moving towns would scan me every week from a positive test & do a blood count when I moved and had a positive and got in touch they refused to scan me until 7 weeks & would only do a blood test if there was nothing viable to see at my ultrasound so totally different care.
