Hello Everyone, well wednesday I found out I'm going to be a mummy probably about 5/6 wks......got to go to the hospital tomorrow for a blood test!!

I need to ask people something tho, I'm getting cramps every now and again and just wondered if this is normal?

It is! I've heard so many people having cramps and everything.

I've had them too, on my left side.

Doc rushed me to the hospital Friday, because she thought I maybe was having an ectopic pregnancy. She thought it was weird only my left fal. tube were really irritated. So at the u/s in the hospital we saw that the baby was in my uterus, where it belongs. And my uterus was pushing onto my left fal. tube, so that's where the cramps come from in my case..

Expect to have cramps up until week 12.
And the worst thing is that those cramps mess up your mind because you feel and think that your period is just around the corner.
For me, I was convinced that my period would just start any minute because of how identical the cramps were.

I am at 14 weeks, and I am still having a few cramps through out the day.

It is normal to have mild cramps, I felt like I was due AF for a long while........consult your GP if they are very painful or any blood loss, otherwise, it is quite normal hun! x

i get period like pains often. it's becoming less, but weeks 4 and 5 was really often - just like AF was on it's way.
