Last night I had a light pinkish tinge when I wiped. I phoned NHS 24 and they explained that a light tinge is nothing to worry about but to phone back if I started to get worse. They were very nice but explained that there was nothing they could do if someone miscarries as early as 5 weeks.
Today, I did two more hpts (both Boots own). The digital one came up negative (although, when I took the test out, I could see another line there quite distinctly) - I had drunk a cup of tea beforehand. I did the normal Boots test and the cross came up almost immediately (quicker than it has done before), but was still lighter than the test line. When I wiped, there was a light, slight, brownish discharge - like I sometimes get a day or so before AF is due.
My boobs and nipples have stopped feeling sore as well.
I get the feeling that the baby is lost - I feel devastated. I feel like there is nothing I can do to stop things happening, just wait it out, which is killing me. I don't want to lose my baby, but there is nothing I can do.
You should've gone to the hospital no matter what the NHS direct people said and you would've got refered for a scan. I hope it's O.K. I had alot of bleeding and my symptoms "stopped." I think I was being paranoid though.

i agree. despite them saying that nothing can be done, at least they can tell you if there is a sack, fetal pole and so on. It is your baby, and you should make decisions not those other people. Of course they will tell you not to go to the hospital because they wanna minimize the number of patients going in...but if I were you I would certainly go and request an emergency scan.
