I'm Currently Feeling:

I am going to try and get another appointment with my GP today. I have had no more spotting or light brownish discharge and no pain. So, I am really unsure about what is happening. I still think that a miscarriage or a chemical pregnancy is a strong possibility. I am not sure if when you miscarry, you get a bit of spotting, then a bit later, it all happens suddenly.

I am really praying that my baby is ok, I am going to try and request that the doctor does something to put my mind at ease - hcg test or ultrasound or something. More than likely they will tell me to wait it out and that they cannot do anything about it. I don't know what rights I have in a situation like this - can I demand they give me a test? Or would they just refuse?

Anyone been through anything like this in the UK?

This is really stressing me out, I feel sick most of the time and can't sleep.

the control line on pregnancy tests are always darker than the actual baby line no?
Don't worry about that at all! It is meant to be darker. thats teh design, to show the test works.

Good luck at the docs. keep us updated.

How much show of blood did you have Poppy? Very little? Didn't need a pad/liner?

A chemical pregnancy will more than often go unnoticed or thought of as a late period tehrefore the bleeding is a lot more than a little spotting hun ... its like a period maybe a lil heavier and still arrives on AF day or very close to. I don't think this is whats happening

Poppy!! Sorry you are so scared right now. read your post and I really think it will be fine! Well I REALLY hope so...

It may just be your little one burrowing deeply into your uterine lining.... I think if it was a miscarriage you would be having loads of bleeding and also cramps.

See your doc soon and hope all is well. Will be checking for your updates.

HUGS!!!
