Cysts during 1st Tri...

Ok, so I'm not sure if everyone knows what I went through about 2 weeks ago. I went into surgery because they thought I had an ectopic pregnancy- well come to find out it was just a cyst and I was still in-fact pregnant. (yay!)

Well now I'm having HORRIBLE cramping like last time. I went into the hospital and they did labs on me and all. The doctor comes in messes inside my va-jayjay and poke around. So the come back an hour later and said it is post surgery pains. It has been a good two and a half weeks and I haven't had much pain at all since then.

WTF?? I know it is a cyst. My husband is a doctor and he knows it too but he just let them tell me that and just take some over-the-counter pain meds. I know they can't do anything as far as if it was a cyst...or can they??

Does anyone have cysts during pregnancy?? They say it goes away about mid-second tri but dear gosh its so painful!! I can't wait that long and do nothing!

I dont know anything about cysts but wanted to say Im sorry your in pain & hope it goes away soon! Can you have a 2nd opinion - different dr?? Ive found already that drs. are sooooo different!

my mate had 4 cysts during her pregnancy they got larger but caused no harm.
i was told i have this cyst that is common in early pregnancy and was starting to collapse at 8wk scan

I had an early scan last week, i have a small cyst on my right ovary, She said it should shrink itself cos its quite common in early pregnancy and goes once the placenta is fully functioning.... so at my 12 week scan they will check again.
She did tell me any options if it doesnt shrink or go but just said thats whats causing the pain. Its not excruciating, more like dragging... i can feel it all the time esp when i walk but its not stopping me doing anything. will see what next scan says!
