Got my results back!!! Need Help!!

Hi everyone!

I got my HCG results back:

1st test was 12,700
2nd test was 23,841

so they doubled like they were supposed to! Yippee!

My progesterone is really low though at 9.94

What can I do to increase it???

Progesterone suppositories or shots.

Im so glad your hcg doubled! And that you finally found out!!!!!!!!!! What did the dr say about the progesterone?

i didn't get to talk to the doc

just a nurse who didn't even know what progesterone was!

Well thats weird?!? (the nurse) My dr told me that if progesterone was under 5 that wasnt good. He said 5-20 we would monitor it (keep taking bloods) and over 20 was good. That was really early on so dont know if it changes with how far along you are or not? Mine was above 20 so he didnt monitor it anymore. He also didnt say what we would do besides monitor things if it wasnt above 20. Hopefully someone else has some info for you on how to raise it. Did the nurse say they want to retake it or just left it as is?

I'm getting progesterone shots 2x a week. I have to get my 2nd HCG test tomorrow. I hope it doubles too! I don't know what normal ranges are for HCG or for progesterone. We just found out on Sunday that I''m pregnant, and I got my first shot yesterday.

I think I'm going to call back and just ask for a prescription for progesterone so I don't have to worry anymore.
