What to Expect at First Midwife Appointment?

I know that there has been a thread like this before, but I couldn't find it, so apologies if people have to repeat.

I got my letter from the midwife today (hooray!)It's and Antenatal Booking Appointment and says it will take about an hour plus a little more time for completion of forms.

What will happen at this appointment? Do I get an U/S or at least get to hear the heartbeat? Should my DH come too? Loads of questions, I know, but I want to know when I get to see the ever-growing bump!
