telling people?

who had who hasnt? more or less everyone i know knows im pregnant and i dont even know how far along i am! when i was pregnant with charlie i pretty much told everyone straight away too im just really bad at keeping things quiet! i understand peoples resons for not telling anyone but the way i see it is if anything happend *touch wood it wont!* but everyone i knew would probably find out anyway! i still feel a bit strange about telling people this time because i cant quite belive it my self but i still cant hold it in!!

We've decided to tell parents and siblings at 8 weeks and then everyone else at 12 wks. I can't keep it in any longer though!!! 2 wks to go to tell family!

i told family and close friends pretty much straightaway but i waited until i'd had my first scan until i told everyone else, but i think that was more because i needed alot of time to get my head around it.

we've told the whole world and his granny....only now!

we had told parents and a few friends beforehand, but waited until after 12 weeks to tell everyone else, including work. I didn't want to "untell" people should anything have gone wrong in the first 12 weeks, so that's why we kept it quiet. It's a personal choice, and normally I can't hold my own water, so keeping it quiet for that long was such a challenge!

So far we have told our parents and I have told a few close friends. It has already been hard in making excuses as to why I am not drinking!

We've told my OH's sister that's it. She's well excited but nobody else knows yet.

If all goes well at EPAU on Weds we will tell my parents and brother (and his OH). We won't tell everyone else until 12 weeks. OH doesn't have contact with his family and they don't even know about me, so they will not know about their grandchild.

We told everyone last week but before that just close friends and faimly. NOT that it did any good, the friends & family blabbermouths couldn't keep their mouths shut!!

Were 7 weeks tomorrow , my wife has told her boss for safety reasons but we havent told anyone else yet , we plan on telling our mums at 8 weeks and everyone else at 12 weeks

The only person I've told is my boss at work (I'm not being massively effective at the moment and I didn't want him to think I was just inept!)

Otherwise, the plan is to tell close family and friends after the scan in 2 weeks (if all is well of course) then make it public after the 12 week scan
