Low Blood Pressure... Anyone else...

When they took my blood pressure today it was kinda low. 102/60 when I am normally 120-130/70-80.

Anyone else had this problem?

Explains the dizzy spells... The doctor told me to increase my fuild intake and to move slowly... I am at a risk for fainting.

It is quite common in early pregnancy mine 102/58 at 8 weeks. I just had to remember to stand up slowly and wait before i started to walk off! Drink and eat plenty xxxx

Oh yeah!!!

Mine was 80/40 at 8 weeks, and 96/50 last week.

My midwife said low BP is nothing to worry about for us or for baby, just annoying!

My midwife said completely normal Mine is on the low side and she said she would much rather see it like that than on the high side at this stage.

Just don't rush around too much

yep I have low blood pressure too, when the midwife had to take my bloods at my booking in appointment I almost fainted and she wasnt suprised at this after taking my BP. also, i get dizzy when i get out of bed etc. I think just take it easy and be a bit slower like she said.

I've made an assumption that low blood pressure is better than high blood pressure though?!

I too have low blood pressure, but I don't think it's due to pregnancy, it's always been low. I think pregnancy may have made it a bit worse as I do feel faint and my legs feel weak much more often than they used to. I just try to be sure I'm eating and drinking enough. I was going to ask my OB about it at next appt., but I feel better already after reading this thread that it won't affect the baby.
