Hooray!

I woke up this morning and was sick! I've never been so pleased to be sick in my entire life. So now I'm hoping that instead of just feeling really queasy all day as I have done for the last few weeks, I'll be sick and have it over and done with. Fingers crossed anyway! This feels like a really good sign for me because with my miscarriage, I only had light nausea and absolutely no actual sickness...this time it's definitely morning/all day sickness!

I was the same. I had nausea for the first couple of weeks and started with the sickness for the last couple of days. I feel better now (having been sick) than having that awful dragging, nausea feeling all day long!

thank you! I was sick once more and it was really not nice. Is it better to eat something if you're going to be sick even if you know it'll probably make it worse or is it just better to throw up stomach acid/a drink from the middle of the night and wretch a lot?

I found if I ate very bland food in very little portions that helped with the nausea and any subsequent vomiting. I was able to get a little bit of nutrition and maintain my body's blood sugar a little bit.

And when I did hurl, it wasn't really in massive amounts. I noticed that staying hydrated with water helped make sure vomiting wasn't so painful or uncomfortable.

I'm barely coming out of morning sickness now. I've stopped taking most of my "homeopathic" therapies but still feeling the mild remnants of that excruciating time.

Congratulations to you! Good luck to you on the rest of your pregnancy!

Eat through it. This is pretty disgusting but I found that biscuits and bananas didn't taste so bad when they come back up

Well ice cream is good in that sense too- but stay away from fish and chips!
