hey guys just a few questions; ive boooked in to go to boxhill hospital in melbourne/vic, i have my 1st appointment on the 3rd and just wanna get an idea of what ill be in for?? what do they go over in the 1st appointment?

How many weeks will u be by then? If less than 6, most probably is to check ur due date and advise you on what do to over the first tri and about the prenatal vitamins.

If you are 6 weeks or above, most probably will have an ultrasound and hear the heartbeat and check the size of the little one. Other than that I dont think something will happen.

I have mine next Tuesday. I'll be in the 7th week, but just 6weeks and 2 days pregnant. I was told to expect a scan of some sort.

Am amazed they do them so early!!!

Also, if you've not already had them with your GP no doubt you'll have blood tests.

yeh, ill be 13 weeks by then,,,jus been to the doctors tonight got all my blood tests dun i hate them lol they couldnt get enuf blood so i gotta go back at the end of the week... checking what blood group i am etc etc how exciting good luck with all urs...spose i just wanted to no hihi

I guess you'll just have a scan... I had bloodtests, urine tests and an internal examination, but it was a slightly different situation. I guess be prepared for all, but I doubt theyll do them!
