We had a nasty scare!

I woke up this morning went to the restroom and noticed some light
pink blood when I wiped. After showing my husband, I wiped again and
it was dark red blood! All I could think of was my previous miscarriage in January. We immediately went to the ER where they did blood work and called in someone to do an ultrasound. An hour and a half later, I was wheeled down for my ultrasound.

The tech wouldn't let me see the screen when she did the transvaginal scan so I just stared at my hubby for any info. Finally, his face lit up and he said, "It's moving"! The tech finally let me see the screen and the baby was indeed moving!!! The heartbeat looked and sounded great! I just cried...

They aren't quite sure why I bled like that. I am not bleeding anymore, but am a bit sore from the exam and such.

What a day!

Horrid feeling isn't it!

I had it for a handful of weeks & with a history & an ectopic I was 'convinced'. Never spotted a reason for my blood shows either.

Glad everything was ok in the end still makes you tremble hours later though doesn't it.

it's so good that you got to find out that the baby was okay though and that you got to actually see it being okay! Hopefully you won't have any more scares though - sounds awful!
