I'm Currently Feeling: | I just can't stop feeling worried. Oh girls I can't stop worrying, I swear.
It's been a great pregnancy, till now. I haven't felt nauseas (I know it's early) and haven't felt anything weird, neither saw a tiny blood spot.
It's my previous miscarriage. I can't stop worrying that something might happen to this one. !!
I already love my little muchkin. I swear I do. I talk to him/her, every second. I touch my belly so that he/she feels me, I am just too nervous and scared to have something bad happening.
We have even selected the names!!!!! I just want it to be real! I want my baby to arrive in July 2008! Please girls can someone let me know of a way to relax? I still have 9 working days to go and take the unpaid leave of 3 months I am going to take!! I think it will be a great time off stress and work and have time to relax and stress-free myself. But how can I start feeling relaxed? My husband is just worried and he always tells me it's not good for me and the baby.
I just keep touching my boobs to see if they stil hurt (They stopped hurting the time I knew something was wrong and it turned out I have miscarried, found baby with no heartbeat)
My husband even does it! he is like "did u check them? and laughs at me!" though I swear it's not funny. It's serious and I am just getting nervous about it. There is a few days and I will have the first ultrasound OMG I am so nervous. I need to hang in there, relax and enjoy being pregnant. I wanted it so bad, and I got it, how come I cannot be able to enjoy it when what I really want to is enjoy every single second!!
Please help |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Oh Suzan - I totally understand what you are going through. I feel you will be fine though. It's good you have arranged to take some time off - this will definitely relax you and make you much more comfortable with being pregnant.
I spoke to my friend and told her my concerns and she keeps telling me to remember to keep positive. We need to keep those positive vibes so the little munchkins feel it and get that fighting spirit too!! |

I had no sickness. I had nausea the odd time. I have only been sick once through it and that was only a couple of weeks ago. I had sore boobs in the first tri then nothing so like you would really panic because of my history then a couple of days later they would be sore again or not as sore infact don't think my boobs hurt at all hitting second trimester but all fine and I even bled for a couple of weeks in my first trimester.
From the girls who were very supportive when my head was mashed I got the impression that baby being your first, if you'd had the heartaches of losses or not in the past we all worry its just normal for us to.
Try to relax Suzan x x
Whats next for you? Do you get extra ultrasounds with your history? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I don't know what's next. I dont really know my doctor. We live in the Persian Gulf for work issues, and medicine here isnt quite good. He is a fine guy, and I relax when I visit him. He hasn't told me what to do next but only to see him when heartbeat can be heard. I will ask to have another ultrasoun at 8 or 9 weeks as we lost the heartbeat before at 7 or 8 weeks. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Ok, here is my silly little trick for kicking my worries. I admit I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer series. It's funny can charming. So when my midwife told me that she would visualize a great wedge of light cutting through the dark clouds of her worries, I knew that I had to come up with something of my own, and it was Buffy. She fights my worries, and I keep this silly little visual in my head till I can get past the scary thoughts. It is silly, it is goofy, but it has been working for me. Dont' get me wrong, I still worry that something could go wrong, but I don't let the thoughts take over now. I acknowledge the fear, and then do my best to let it go. If that doesn't work, then it is time for Buffy to kick a little ass. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Aww hun, I know it must be really hard, but just try to relax. Thats good that you are able to take the time off work, and if I were you, I'd get a good book, and lots of bubble bath. Give yourself time for just you. My sister miscarried right before I became pregnant, so I was super worried the whole first tri. I still get worried if I dont feel the baby for a few days, and if things dont seem right. And especially if symptoms seem to go for a few days. Just try not to get too stressed. Whatever you like doing, do it. I love bubble baths, movies, shopping. And sometimes its nice to go to a park or somewhere alone, (in the day of course!) to just relax and think about nothing. You'll be in my thoughts, and I hope you have a H&H 9 mos! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Try not to worry Suzan. Your doctor is keeping an eye on you. I'm sure everything will be fine this time round. It's good you are taking the time off - relax and enjoy.
Here's to you having a happy and healthy nine months and introduce your lovely baby to the world in July 2008. |
