Sorry - another worry!

I was sitting on the sofa and stood up and got a real sharp, pulling muscle sort of pain in my abdomen that lasted about 10 seconds.

Anyone any ideas what this might have been? Seems to have gone now.

Sorry to keep pestering you all with my worries!!! You all know how it is...!

Tbh, it could just be a muscle strain, where your boyd is adjusting to the various changes its going to have to make, I have had a few short sharp pains, but they go by about 6-7 seconds, if your worried, phone the NHS direct, or phone your midwife/doctors and get an appointment, they know best! Good luck

I have had pains like those several times - I'm not worried about it, I think I'm going to be a achey person anyway as I've not been a sicky person so far!!

Make the most of not being a sickey person!!
When (& if) it comes, you will be wishing yourself back to those aches and pains!!

Honestly, I have had allsorts of random pains, stretchy/tuggy feelings, along with regular monthly period pains, but my bean is still stuck! So you will be fine, the more you worry, the more chance of something going wrong! I know only too well how much we worry!

I had lots of pains like that (still do) esp on right side. Docs now think I have probably just pulled a muscle! If you're worried just go to the doctor, mine was really nice about all my paranoias (sp!)

Aw thanks guys. It is just nice to know everyone else has the same worries! Like everyone else I don't want anything to go wrong...

Maybe this is natures way of preparing us for sleepless nights when the bean is 15 and doesn't come home!!!

I get sharp muscle twinges EVERYDAY but I'm assuming I'm fine. I get the feeling I'll know about it God forbid anything serious happens. Deal with it then. No use worrying...

I got a little teeny bit worried to be honest as it was always on the right side but I've had a couple of left side twinges too so i'm relaxed now. haha!

I get this if I get up too quick ... I understand it might be Round Ligament pain? where the muscles of / under your uterus are becoming looser and stretching? i find it helps to always get up / move more slowly! it's getting less and less as the weeks go on though.
