I don't think I'm "constipated" so to speak. Okay, well, erm, "it" just seems really dry and its making me kind of sore ! Help?

Well, I don't know what to say except that I sympathize. My bms are also becoming more painful.

Drink water
Eat lots of fibre - try having some wholegrain bread and stuff like weetabix

I got this a lot whilst pregnant, you can also get some natural tablets to help you go, but speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using those.

Here, someone posted this a while ago: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art49479.asp

This may help too: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art14189.asp

I have the same problem. Today I went out and got food that I know will go 'right through me' and WOO HOO! It DID! I feel so much lighter!

NOTHING worked for me. I swear I suffered with consitipation until 12 weeks.
Milk of magnesia, however, is a safe, fast and EFFECTIVE thing that can help you out.

I tried eating more fibre, metamucil, NOTHING worked.

Thankfully, those days are long gone.

Apple juice works wonders apparently.

And Ive seen adverts on the TV for this stuff you dissolve in your water and drink, but Im not sure if its safe during pregnancy.

I was constipated a few weeks before I got my BFP, I never knew it was a symptom actually. Its not very nice but mine seems to have got a little better so hopefully yours will soon.
