That 'In-Between' Stage

Is anyone else at that 'in-between' stage...where you're starting to look a little different (maybe wider around the middle), but nobody really knows/can't tell that you're really pregnant?

I feel that way now.... I'm 9 weeks and my waistline has definitely expanded and I have a little pooch/bump - but not enough that people would be like, "Oohh...she's pregnant!". It's that weird stage where I'm feeling thick...I don't want to wear tight tops because then I just look funny and pudgy -(which is soooo different from my usual sexy self.....

) so I've been sticking to loose clothes at work and when I go out.

The other thing is that I haven't told anyone yet (cept one of my really good friends) - so I don't want to wear too tight tops in case anyone figures it out... Once I tell my parents this weekend I think I'll feel better about letting myself 'show'. IT's kind of hard wearing only loose clothes all the time!

Anyone else in this boat?

Hi

I feel exactly the same and it's not good is it! People at work keep asking me and i tell u it's a good job i am or they would b cheecky bastatrds, brave asking i reckon but i am not saying yet til after my scan! I generally think i have expanded in all areas, boobs 2! They r sore especially if i roll on them in the night!

I think i am just looking a bit plumpy like i have been over indulging! (wish i had mind)

Fri night missing my wine!

yes yes. im 8wks ... just posted a pic of my tummy in here new thread but i am sticking with dresses just now, but when wind blows towards me im like waaaaahh i have a belly!! ppl prob think im just fat tho. and my fav pants are a tad tight?

I am missing my wine too! Just had some ice cream instead though

Things are definitely tighter for me and i'm about 10 weeks now. I should take a pic also just to see. As long as I ain't getting fatter anywhere else, I don't mind!

Same here I have the start of a baby bump but others think I'v put on some weight, my tums not PREGNANT defined yet ROLF. I feel like a cow some days lol, I feel like getting a tee shirt made that say "It not fat, I'm PREGNANT 10 weeks" hahaha...

I'm just short of 11wks preg with my 2nd & was so not expecting to be showing so soon, Well at least to me i am & when i show my new baby bulge people can see it, but i think i still look podgy if i leave my tops as normal. I cant wear my normal pants/jeans they are to tight or im having to leave the button undone, but maternity clothes are to big so im alittle stuck. I'm going to take a piccy of my bump & show you all. I noticed it 2wks more that the shape had changed not a bump as such, now i just think it screams " BUMP ! "

I wasn't happy with the way my bump looked-bit too chubby all over for my liking. so just took dog for a walk, not that it would've made any difference!

I know exactly how you feel. This too is my 2nd pregnancy and I was anticipating showing early but not this early. I thought I was hiding it really well until Monday when I had to get fitted for a bridemaid dress this week. OMG I think I popped this week. I went to the doc yesterday and they confirmed that I am once again carring really really high so I will be all belly. I was hoping to hide my bump for another 3 weeks.

Instead I am going shopping for maternity clothes tomorrow.

Last summer when I was pregnant with Betty the beach was a nightmare, I actually had a tank top made up that said Baby on Board so people would know. I'm already starting to actually have a baby bump already this time, so by June, I'm hoping it will be pretty obvious.

I am in the exact same boat as you guys! Ive completely popped out. Im in maternity jeans already as i cant do my normal ones up any more! Feel about 4 months gone

. My tops have started pulling up at the front now, thought i was gona get away without buying maternity tops for a good few weeks but it doesnt look like i will
